Do you need to contact NGS? If so, we have a listing of available phone numbers, inquiry forms and addresses on our website. On the top of every page of our website you can select Contact Us or from the Resources dropdown, select Contact Us for available contact information.

 

Using NGSConnex to Obtain Medicare Advantage Plan Information

Did you know you can determine whether or not a beneficiary is covered by a MA Plan using NGSConnex, our secure provider self-service portal?

When a beneficiary has coverage through an MA Plan, coverage is not handled by NGS. The Eligibility Lookup tab in NGSConnex will provide the following MA Plan information.

• Beneficiary Effective Date and Beneficiary Termination Date
• Administering Insurance Company - if available the name of the private insurance company administering the MA plan will display.
• Plan Name – if available, the specific plan names the beneficiary is covered under will display. Select the drop-down arrow to view additional information.
  • Plan website
  • Plan telephone number
• Contract Number – this information can be used on the CMS website to obtain the contact information and additional information for the MA plan.
  • On the CMS website select the Research, Statistics, Data & Systems tab in the top navigation toolbar.
  • Under the Statistics, Trends & Reports section select Medicare Advantage/Part D Contract and Enrollment Data.
  • Select MA Plan Directory from the left side navigation, open the most recent file to view the most current information. You can use the Ctrl F to search the Excel file for the plan number.
• Plan Number
• Plan Option Code Description – information displayed in this column will provide additional details in regards to who is responsible for the services rendered.

 

Course Catalog Tab

The Course Catalog tab lists the courses available for you to enroll in and will list them in catalog ID order.

The courses you have not enrolled in will be in blue and the courses you have already enrolled in will appear grey.

The courses within MU are broken down per contract or self-reporting event. To identify the courses, look at the course ID.

Course definitions are as follows:

AA-C-##### identifies self-reporting courses; these courses should be accessed after you have attended a live training event (teleconference, webinar or live seminar) by NGS. There is no content available in these courses.
