Check with your software vendor to determine if you have the capability to post an ERA file to your accounts receivable system. If your software vendor offers posting of the ERA, National Government Services would strongly recommend using this option in order to receive all of the advantages of an ERA.

Software is required to download, print, and post the ERA data. This software can be obtained through your current software vendor. If your vendor offers posting of the ERA, we strongly recommend this option so that you can utilize all of the ERA advantages. If ERA software is not available with your software vendor, you can use a program developed by CMS called MREP. This free software program is available for all providers to use in order to download and print Medicare Part B ERAs.
