Reminder: New Medicare Part B Redetermination Notice Initiative
As we’ve communicated, National Government Services is transitioning to electronic notifications for Part B Medicare Redetermination decisions when a Medicare Part B Redetermination request is electronically submitted through the NGSConnex portal effective 3/3/2025.
We encourage you to take advantage of upcoming educational sessions to learn more about this change. There will be time allotted after the presentation to address your questions. You may register below, or via our Events page.

NGS Part B Redetermination decision(s) are typically rendered within 60 days of receiving the request. Provider notification(s) is dependent on the result of the appeal (redetermination).
- If the initial decision is reversed, a revised RA will be provided.
- In cases where the decision is partially allowed, a redetermination notification and RA will be sent to the provider.
- If the initial decision remains unfavorable, only a redetermination notification will be received.
