NGSConnex Now Offers One Stop Electronic Appeals Solution

Medicare Part A providers and HH+H providers who are located in Jurisdiction 6 and submit fee-for-service claims to National Government Services now have the ability to submit reconsideration requests (level 2 appeals) and supporting documentation to the QIC, Maximus, electronically via NGSConnex.

Note: This functionality has been and remains available for our Jurisdiction K Part A providers and HH+H providers.

What Does This Mean to You?

You will save both time and money by beginning to submit reconsideration requests electronically through NGSConnex. You will save time because electronic submission is much quicker than paper submission by mailing and will save money by cutting postage fees.

You will not only be able to submit your reconsideration requests electronically through NGSConnex, but you will be able to check the status of reconsideration requests, view reconsideration decisions and view and print reconsideration letters regardless of how they were submitted to the QIC, Maximus. If you have submitted a request for an Administrative Law Judge hearing (level 3 appeals), and a decision has been rendered, you will also be able to view the outcome in NGSConnex.

How Do You Get Started?

If you are already registered for NGSConnex, login today and go the My Claims tab to initiate a reconsideration request or view the status of your appeal requests (levels 1-3). Detailed step-by-step instructions are available in the NGSConnex User Guide.
