Improving Customer Experience in 2021
We are committed to improving your experience. Each day, we review comments from providers who submit surveys to let us know what is working well and how we can improve. We appreciate your feedback. This is the list of improvements we have made during the first half of 2021:
NGSConnex Portal
- Added a PECOS link to the ‘My Provider Profile tab’ to clarify which system to use to initiative Medicare enrollment changes
- Reduced the frequency of email messages sent to remind inactive users to login
- Simplified the form that users complete to request assistance when they have trouble logging in
- Added logic to ensure users don’t submit a reopening for a Part B claim with a ADR
- Added the following functionality to the Eligibility section: Part A and Part B Entitlement Reason Codes, COVID-19 Vaccine Information and Acupuncture Information.
- Published a list of account management tips to help with CMS Security requirements
- Published an article with browser requirements and recommendations for optimal experience
NGSMedicare.com Website
- Improved the Provider Enrollment Application Status Tool
- Provided details for reporting a change of information
- Created and posted a Job Aid titled “Remittance Advice Codes: What They Are and Where To Find What They Mean”
- Published an article with tips to find Local Coverage Determinations and Billing and Coding Instructions
Additionally, we are developing an innovative, modernized and consolidated NGSMedicare.com website and NGSConnex portal. We are using your feedback to improve navigation and usability in the new site. We already implemented a new consolidated NGSMedicare.com landing page and look forward to sharing the new site soon.
