A Collaborative Learning Opportunity with the Medicare Administrative Contractors National Government Services, Novitas Solutions, Wisconsin Physician Services
Telligen QI Connectâ„¢, the CMS QIN-QIO and HQIC program for Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Oklahoma and HQIC across more than a dozen states is hosting the Chronic Disease Management and Preventive Services Learning and Action Series.
National Government Services, Novitas Solutions and Wisconsin Physician Services MACs worked in collaboration to develop this learning series for the providers we serve.
Each course will begin with a MAC presentation, followed by an open question and answer period to address any questions you have. Attendees will receive links to Medicare resources for the topics presented.

Session 1: Medicare Chronic Kidney Disease Screening and Management Services
Wednesday, May 25, 2022 | 11:00 a.m. MST/12:00 p.m. CST
This course will review the five stages of chronic kidney disease. We will review Medicare covered laboratory tests to identify renal disease and MNT to assist in preventing the progression of this disease. Links will be provided to several Medicare resources in addition to responding to questions.

Session 2: Medicare Diabetes Screening and Management Services

This course will provide the most current information related to Medicare Diabetes Management, Diabetes Screening Services and preventive visits. We will discuss the components of the DSMT, MDPP and Medical Nutrition Therapy. Links will be provided to Medicare resources in addition to responding to questions.

Session 3: Medicare Cardiovascular Screening and Management Services

This course will review how Medicare reimburses for many screening services for cardiovascular disease. There are lab tests, counseling services for tobacco use and intensive behavior therapy for cardiovascular disease and obesity. Learn the Medicare rules and regulations concerning these services including coverage requirements, frequency and appropriate providers. Links will be provided to Medicare resources in addition to responding to questions.

Session 4: Medicare Preventive Visits and Screenings
