Request for Anticipated Payment Auto-Cancellation Extension

Due to CMS guidelines during the Public Health Emergency, all RAPs processed during the PHE will have an additional 90 days from the date of the processed RAP to submit the claim for the billing period. Under home health billing guidelines, the HHA has 60 days from the RAP process date to submit the claim for the same billing period before the RAP will auto-cancel. The grace period during the PHE adds another 90 days to this timeframe to allow home health agencies more time to submit the period claim.
