With the end of the PHE, will HIPAA compliant telehealth platforms only be allowed, or can we continue to use any platform?
The Department of Health and Human Services HIPAA regulations require a HIPAA compliant platform be used. The PHE allowed for enforcement discretion during the PHE and that was extended through 8/9/2023.
