View Existing Medicare ID (PTAN) in PECOS and Effective/End Dates for Reassignment

Important: If you recently submitted an application to request a PTAN, please verify the approval letter was received prior to submission of claims.

Log into PECOS.

Select “My Associates”

Scroll down under “Existing Associates” and click “View Enrollments” for selected record.

Under my associates you will see your records for Existing Associates. You will have access to click on the record that requires revalidating. To revalidate, click on View Enrollments.

Scroll down under “Existing Enrollments” to appropriate record.

View “Medicare ID” for PTAN(s) Open “View Approved Enrollment Record.”

Open “View Medicare ID Report”
Open “View Approved Enrollment Record”
- Sole proprietors or groups review the practice location section
- Physician assistants review the physician assistants section
- Individuals or groups review the reassignment section
Open “View/Manage Reassignments” then review the report

“View/Manage Reassignment” screen, scroll down under “Reassignment Report,” to view Medicare ID PTAN, effective and end date for each reassignment.
