NGSConnex
NGSConnex is a self-service web application developed by National Government Services that offers providers and suppliers to access to information at their fingertips via the Internet.
NGSConnex provides:
- claim status;
- beneficiary eligibility;
- financial data;
- provider demographics;
- option for submitting cost reports;
- ability to submit appeal requests; and
- secure messaging.
NGSConnex will:
- provide the capability to request multiple provider accounts.
- suspend user accounts that are inactive for 180 days. The user needs to contact their local security officer (LSO) to get their account reinstated.
- display the MSP insurer name and address on the Entitlement tab for MSP coverage.
NGSConnex is a self-service application that allows you to perform the following actions directly within the system:
- Setup your user ID, password
- Setup additional users within your organization/office
- Reset passwords
- Access training materials and FAQs documentation
Some other self-service products/options available that are similar to NGSConnex include:
- IVR system (all lines of business)
- FISS DDE Provider Online System (Part A only)
These products are available in addition to NGSConnex; none of these will be eliminated. NGSConnex just offers another avenue to obtain information applicable to a provider/supplier.
To Access NGSConnex, All you need is Internet access and an email address. There is no cost to access NGSConnex (includes connectivity costs or any cost to use the system).
System Availability
NGSConnex is available 24/7. However, information obtained from the local system is only available:
- Monday–Friday: 7:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. ET
- Saturday: 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. ET
Note: NGSConnex is not available during system upgrades/maintenance.
