Setting Your Security Questions
Setting up Security Questions is part of the required process for establishing an EDI Gateway Self-Service Portal account. Follow these steps to set up your account Security Questions.
- Access the Trading Partner Portal via Reset My EDI Password. The screen shown below will display.
- Type in your Username and current Password.
- Username format: TPID@TPID
- If your Submitter/Trading Partner ID contains letters, they all must be capitalized.
- Select Login.
- The following page will display. Select Update Profile located at the top right of the page.
- The Update Profile page shown below will display. Answer the three Security Questions.
- First Security Question
- Enter your date of birth in the required format (YYYYMMDD).
- Second Security Question
- Enter the last four digits of your Social Security Number.
- Third Security Question
- Select a question from the dropdown box, enter your answer (question options shown below).
- Select Apply. The questions/answers you set up are saved in your Profile.
If you answer your Security Questions incorrectly three times, an error message will return. Your account will be suspended and you’ll need to contact the EDI Help Desk to have your password reset. Contact numbers are listed on the right hand side of this page.
- Once reset and logged in, you will be able to update your security questions by selecting Update Profile.
- Security questions are case sensitive.
Third set of Security Question options:
- With what company did you hold your first job?
- What is your oldest sibling’s middle name?
- In what city was your mother born? (Enter full name of city only)
- In what city was your father born? (Enter full name of city only)
- What was the name of your first boyfriend or girlfriend?
- In what city did you honeymoon? (Enter full name of city only)
- What is your paternal grandfather’s first name?
- What is your paternal grandmother’s first name?
- Where did you meet your spouse for the first time? (Enter full name of city only)
- In what city was your high school? (Enter only “Charlotte” for Charlotte High School)
