EDI Gateway Self-Service Password Portal Overview
Use of the EDI Gateway Self-Service Password Portal is encouraged to reset/change passwords in a simple and secure web-based manner for EDI trading partners. This system is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for the convenience of our trading partners.
- To keep your account from being suspended, you must log in every 30 days.
- To maintain security, EDI passwords must be regularly changed or reset within 60 days. Passwords can be changed or reset prior to the 60 day expiration.
Changing versus Resetting Your Password
Changing Your Password
- Change your password when you know your current password and it has not been suspended.
- When changing your password, it’s not necessary to respond to the security questions
- Log in with your current valid password, select Update the Profile on the right hand side. Select Apply to save your new password.
- If you have logged in within the last 30 days but your password does not accept, please view the steps in ‘Resetting Your Password.’
Resetting Your Password
- Reset your password when you have forgotten your current password.
- When resetting your password, it’s necessary to respond to the security questions, therefore, your security questions must be set up and answered correctly before you can reset your password.

If you’ve logged in within the last 30 days, and are suspended due to three invalid attempts, or, if you have not previously set up your security questions and you forgot your password, you may call the EDI Help Desk for assistance. When calling for assistance, please have the following information available for authentication:
- Caller’s name
- Logon ID
- NPI and PTAN
