Introduction
The Congressional Affairs Outreach team at National Government Services, Inc. and our partners are committed to ensuring that congressional offices receive a timely response to all inquiries. For your convenience, National Government Services has compiled this online directory to help ensure the appropriate CMS MAC handles your inquiry.
The NGS CMS MAC Directory is comprised of states and United States territories where NGS maintains a government contract for CMS. However, other CMS MACs providing Part A (hospital), home health and hospice, Part B (medical) and DME services are also identified in this directory.
Finally, this directory includes contact information for additional resources available to address inquiries regarding:
- Medicare Part D for the CMS;
- Medicare Social Security issues;
- Medicare Coordination of benefits;
- problems with MSP recovery payments; and
- Medicare Partner information for each state’s Medicare QIO and the SHIP.
Important Note: To keep a Congressional inquiry moving without delay, each inquiry must include a consent for release of Medicare personal records, which includes CMS-required information about the constituent, e.g.:
- Name
- Date of birth
- Mailing address
- Medicare number (including the alphanumeric characters)
- Telephone number
- Explanation of the problem—including what the constituent would like the office to do, and
- The constituent’s signature along with the date
This information is for Congressional staffers only!
