Hospice Payment Rates
National Government Services publishes hospice rate sheets you can use to validate hospice payments based on your service location. Although FISS is the official payment made by the Medicare Program, you can use the rates sheets as a tool for evaluating the details of your hospice payments.
Hospice rates vary by discipline and location of where beneficiary services are rendered; we provide a separate worksheet for each state serviced by National Government Services. The various wage indices for each state are delineated on the spreadsheet providing the wage adjusted hospice rates. Hospice rates generally change annually on October 1st.
Please direct questions regarding the rate sheets to the Medicare Audit and Reimbursement office servicing your facility.
