Fast Track Access

You will be prompted for the fast-track access when you use a feature that requires provider authentication (NPI, PTAN, TIN).

  • Features: Claim Status, Checks, Offsets, Pricing, Appeals

You can obtain a code after you complete the provider authentication for the first time each day, then you can use the code for the remainder of the day to bypass provider authentication.  Daily codes expire at midnight (Eastern Time Zone).

When you use features in the IVR that require provider authentication (NPI, PTAN, and TIN), the IVR will ask you if you have a Fast Track Code. 

  • If you say ‘Yes’, the IVR will ask you to enter the code (you can speak or use touch-tone to enter the code). 
    • Once you enter the valid code, you will bypass provider authentication and continue in the IVR.
  • If you say ‘No’, the IVR will have you authenticate your NPI, PTAN, and TIN. Then you will be asked if you would like today’s code.
    • If you say ‘Yes’, the IVR will give you the code that you can use for the rest of the day (the codes expire daily at Midnight (Eastern Time Zone)). 
  • You can also choose to not get the fast-track code and continue through the IVR like you do today.  Note you will have to authenticate your NPI, PTAN, and TIN for every call. 

Note: You can get the Fast Track Access code for one NPI/PTAN/TIN combination per call to the IVR.  If you have multiple NPIs/PTANs/TINs, you will need to call the IVR for each combination separately to get the Fast Track Access codes.
