Account Suspensions

Account Suspensions
NGSConnex accounts may be suspended for one of the following reasons.
- If an NGSConnex account has not been used within the last 30 days, the account will be suspended.
- If you attempt to login to the NGSConnex account and select the ‘Can’t Login’ link and then select ‘Change/Forgot My Password’ link, you are required to enter the ‘Challenge Question’ answer you provided during the registration process. If you enter an invalid challenge question answer three times in a row, your account will be suspended.
Unsuspend Your Account
- If your account is suspended for either of the reasons above you will receive the following message.
- Select the delivery method you would like to receive your ‘Security Code’ needed to unsuspend your account.
- Select the Send Security Code button.
- Retrieve the ‘Security Code’ from either email or your mobile phone.
- Enter the ‘Security Code’ in the Security Code field.
- Select the Enter button.
- You may then be prompted to change your password. If so, you should follow the prompts on the screen.
- Your account will be unsuspended and you will be able to login to NGSConnex.
Invalid Login Attempts
- If you enter your NGSConnex credentials incorrectly the first time the following message will display. You should verify the User ID/Password you entered are correct and try to login again.
- If you enter your NGSConnex credentials incorrectly for a second time the following message will display. It is recommended that you not attempt to login again but rather use the links provided to reset your password.
- If you do not remember your User ID you can select the ‘I Forgot my User ID’ link and follow the prompts to retrieve your User ID.
- If you know your User ID is correct but do not remember your password, you can select the ‘Change/Forgot my Password’ link.
- If you attempt to login and enter your password incorrectly three times unsuccessfully the following will display.
If your account is locked because you have more than three invalid log in attempts within a two hour period, you will be required to wait a minimum of 15-minutes before attempting to login again.
Note: If you do not wait a minimum of 15-minutes and attempt to log in again your account will be locked for 180-minutes.
