LSO Responsibilities

LSO Responsibilities
The LSO is responsible for managing access for other NGSConnex users within the organization.
- Select the Manage Account button on the NGSConnex home page.
- Select User Management. The User Management option will be disabled if you are not an LSO.
Approve/Decline/Modify/Remove Access
- In the System Access panel, you can search for the standard NGSConnex user that you need to approve or decline or modify access for, by using the Search option and entering any of the following search criteria.
- User ID
- Name
- NPI
- PTAN
- TIN
- Select the checkbox in the row for the user you need to review a request for.
- You can Approve or Decline the request, you can modify the type of access prior to approving by de-selecting or selecting the checkboxes. If you would like the user to be an LSO you can select the LSO/User Management checkbox.
- When you approve a request, the Status field will update from Requested to Approved.
If the standard user’s account is suspended due to inactivity, or suspended due to entering their challenge question answer incorrectly when attempting to change their password they will need to select the ‘Can’t Log In‘ link on the login page and follow the prompts to unsuspend their account.
